Peter Mack completed his Bachelor of Laws in 2016 to expand on his extensive property and construction background. He trained and worked as a planning and environment lawyer in Sydney and has 3 years applied legal experience in the Land and Environment Court acting for developers appealing against Council development application refusals and 4 years property law and conveyancing experience in NSW and Queensland.
As a solicitor Peter has worked for Anthony Whealy, pre-eminent planning and environment lawyer at Mills Oakley in Sydney and for Mark Swivel, champion of community focused affordable practical legal services at Barefoot Law in Byron Bay.
Peter has prepared briefs for several leading barristers and expert witnesses in successful court matters and has experience running cases in NCAT, Local Court, Land and Environment Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in NSW and Magistrates Court in Queensland.
Peter Mack has been involved in property design, planning and construction since 1999 in various senior roles delivering successful speculative residential projects and managing significant high-end residential and tourist accommodation projects from concept to occupation certification in high density urban and environmentally sensitive regional areas involving multiple stakeholders, and state and local consent authorities in NSW and Queensland.
He has held Site Supervisor, Building Designer and Real Estate Agent licences in Queensland and been a company director and secretary with 6 years practical experience in property trust law and negotiated dispute settlements in construction, property, tax, corporate, insurance and planning matters.
Peter also studied Fine Art at Sydney University, is an avid user of technology, has a certificate in Filmmaking from AFTRS and is highly proficient in reading plans, survey and engineering documentation, Photoshop, 3d architectural design, photography, videography and is a registered Remotely Piloted Aircraft (micro-drone) operator.
A mature age Bachelor of Laws graduate of Central Queensland University, student exemplar in Ethics and Jurisprudence, and recipient of the Vice Chancellor's Commendation for High Distinctions, Peter is dedicated to achieving the best results with a passionate focus on matters related to property and planning.
